COMMUNITY
MENTORING

Peak Education offers the opportunity to be paired with a community mentor. The Peak Education mentoring program recruits professionals in various fields to find meaningful personal and professional matches between volunteer mentors and students. Older students (juniors and seniors) receive college and scholarship application support.

Kelajanae - Peak Ed Scholar at CU Boulder on Mentoring

"I met Miss Peggy through the mentor program at Peak Education. Miss Peggy was there to help me for  assignments, my personality traits, or anything I was doing she was just there in a helping hand. Often times when I was having a hard time in basketball, she would come to cheer me on in my basketball games. She would even come to just support me in my senior game, my senior night. It just felt really good to have that support for both academics, my extracurricular activities, and for my student council."
MENTEES

Peak Education scholars in grades 9th-12th have the opportunity to be paired with community mentors for extra support. These mentors are adult volunteers who want to help you reach your full potential and achieve your goals. They will complement what you’re learning in Peak Education’s programs, offering fresh perspectives and guidance to help you succeed. Whether you need help with time-management or study skills, you’re looking for ways to make connections in the community, or you’d like some assistance with college and scholarship applications, your mentor will provide personalized support every step of the way.

MENTORS

Peak Education mentors are adult volunteers who serve as trusted guides and an extra layer of support for motivated students in grades 9th-12th. Once paired with a student who has requested a mentor, you will provide essential coaching, accountability, and connection from the unique
perspective of an adult who is neither a teacher nor a parent. You will play a crucial role in their educational journey by encouraging them every step of the way, and by sharing your knowledge and experience with them. As a Peak Education mentor, you will also join a community of like-minded individuals and gain new insights that will enhance your personal and professional life.
