Please join us for a 2 1/2 hour session on a Saturday morning or afternoon (or both!) as we sort and package food to help reduce food insecurity in Colorado Springs. Sign-ups open 4 weeks before the event.
Volunteer to tutor an elementary-aged child in reading. Good for students interested in careers in education, working with kids.
Ages 14 and up.
Requires application, training and a three-month commitment, two hours/week.
Volunteer at Memorial Central or North
Ages 14 and up.
Application and orientation required.
Good for students interested in careers in the medical field.
Junior Medical School (11th and 12th graders with 3.0 or higher) Apply by early May
Prepare and serve food for people in need downtown.

The minimum age to volunteer is 13 years old (weekdays only if 13)

Teens ages 13 to 15 must volunteer with a parent or accompanying adult

Teens that are 16+ may volunteer alone

Volunteer as an individual!
RMFI runs project stewardship days and mobilizes community stewardship volunteers each year in the healing and restoration of public lands throughout Southern Colorado, with an emphasis on the Pikes Peak region.
Pre-registration is required for all Community Volunteer Workdays. Volunteers must be committed to attending the full duration of the workdays for which they register.
This program charges tuition, but scholarships are possible for students with financial need.

Learn firsthand about peer-to peer restorative justice. Volunteers are trained to hear cases of youth and decide the best response to get them back on track. Requires training and commitment. Great for students interested in careers in law, social services, criminal justice.
Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services
Various opportunities for students as young as 10. Includes Teen Docent programs at Rock Ledge Ranch, Youth Day Programs and more.
Various options for students interested in working with animals.
Volunteers 12 and up. Adult supervision required for volunteers under 16.
